Quality Policy
LASCARAY – LEA Products, as a company in the Chemical-Cosmetic sector, has as its main objective to satisfy the requirements of our customers in free competition with other producers of the same cosmetic, shaving, skin care, and personal hygiene products.
Through this productive activity, LASCARAY, S.A. aims to generate appropriate economic results through sustained growth and constant renewal of the company structure, in order to reciprocate the trust placed in us by everyone linked to LASCARAY – Productos Lea — shareholders, collaborators, customers, and suppliers — enabling the best remuneration and professional satisfaction for all personnel, always within the strictest compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (sector-specific, environmental, industrial safety, hygiene).
To achieve these objectives, LASCARAY, S.A. establishes a Management System for its facilities located at C/Eskalmendi, 3, 01013 Vitoria-Gasteiz (ÁLAVA) based on:
- Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices established in the UNE/EN/ISO 22716:2007 standard and the requirements of IFS HPC in order to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
- Meeting all requirements including those related to safety, quality, legality, processes, and product specifications, both those required by the product and those legally mandated or mutually agreed upon, both within LASCARAY – Productos Lea and in dealings with customers, suppliers, and society in general.
- Involving all personnel in continuous improvement processes, process rationalization, and productivity increases, while always promoting a culture of product safety.
- Incorporating risk assessment-based management into our processes.
- Allocating the necessary resources for control and assurance of product quality and safety, including providing buildings and equipment appropriate to the activity.
- Maintaining an environmentally respectful approach, as well as actively contributing to sustainable development based on the following action criteria: segregating at source all waste that can be recycled; minimizing energy consumption in activities; creating communication channels with customers and suppliers to establish environmentally respectful working criteria and methods; complying with all applicable environmental legal requirements; promoting environmental protection and pollution prevention through staff awareness and training.
- Supporting and defending the following social responsibility principles: supporting and respecting human rights; defending freedom of association; recognizing the right to collective bargaining; rejecting child labor; eliminating workplace discrimination and promoting equal opportunities; defending professional ethics and integrity; rejecting corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery; promoting occupational health and safety.
Management ensures that this policy is understood and accepted by all personnel through periodic training meetings and daily verbal communications.
